Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether they have any recent evidence that a folic acid deficiency in men may lead to birth defects in their offspring.

Public Health England is not aware of any evidence to suggest that a folic acid deficiency in men may lead to birth defects in their offspring.
