Monitor and NHS England have shared responsibility for the national tariff.

The criteria for listing a drug or device on the high cost list are published on the NHS England website:

The Innovative Medicines and Medtech Review, joint with the Office of Life Science, will make recommendations to Government on reforms to accelerate access for National Health Service patients to innovative medicines and medical technologies (including devices and diagnostics).
