Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:
To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, pursuant to the Answer of 24 November 2022 to Question 88892 on Care Homes and Hospitals: Power Failures, how many civil servants are employed to oversee the Electricity Emergency Supply Code as of 29 November 2022.

Thirty-five civil servants are in the team responsible for security and resilience in the energy sector, including responsibility for the Electricity Supply Emergency Code.
