Question to the Cabinet Office:
To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, whether the second homes council tax premium has been paid on the Prime Minister’s residence in Chequers since 1 April 2025.
This question was answered on 15th December 2025
Chequers is owned by The Chequers Trust, and therefore payment of Council Tax is not a matter for the government.
