To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the Answer of 17 July 2017 to Question 4201, what the reasons are for the delay in the publication of the independent review into deaths and serious incidents in police custody.

The Government-commissioned Independent Review into Deaths and Serious Incidents in Police Custody is a thorough and detailed work and the findings and recommendations are being carefully considered by Government, ahead of its publication.
