Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what checks Border Force carry out on offshore supply vessels operating in UK waters.

Border Force is responsible for ensuring any individual seeking entry to the United Kingdom, at the border, for the purposes of offshore employment has the right to do so, as well as hold any relevant entry clearance, should it be required.

The Government provides guidance and codes of practice to help employers prevent illegal working, as well as similar guidance specific to offshore working.
