The Average Working Days Lost (AWDL) per staff year in the Civil Service has fallen from 8.8 days in 2010 to 7.4 days in 2015. This shows we are making good progress in reducing sickness absence in the Civil Service, and we are continuing to monitor and actively manage staff attendance.
