Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what progress her Department has made on tackling rough sleeping and homelessness in Harlow.

In March there were zero families in B&Bs over 6 weeks in Harlow and Epping Forest council areas, and there were zero people sleeping rough long-term in Epping Forest or Uttlesford in June. This indicates that encouraging progress is already being made in Harlow.

In the Rough Sleeping Programme funding allocations, we announced £752,600 for Harlow to further these efforts and ensure that everyone sleeping rough has a route off the streets by Christmas.
