Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, when data obtained by his Department and arms-length bodies from UCAS on the number and profile of applications for entry to medical and nursing courses in 2017-18, specifically by subject, profession and geographical spread, will be released.

The Department is not responsible for collecting data on the number of applications to study degree courses in allied health profession subjects.

The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service publishes data on the number of applications to full-time undergraduate courses. Further information is available at:
