Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what price the NHS will pay AstraZeneca for AZD1222, developed by Oxford University’s Jenner Institute, working with the Oxford Vaccine Group, once the covid-19 pandemic is over.

Commercial confidentiality means that we cannot?release any information on?any agreements between the Government and vaccine manufacturers?while commercial negotiations are ongoing.

The Government has established a Vaccines Taskforce (VTF) to coordinate and make the most of all the work going on across Government, academia and industry to accelerate the development and manufacture of a COVID-19 vaccine.

The VTF is supporting efforts to rapidly develop a COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible by providing industry and research institutions with the resources and support they need.
