Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, when he plans to publish the updated version of the Consolidated Guidance to Intelligence Officers and Service Personnel on the Detention and Interviewing of Detainees Overseas, and on the Passing and Receipt of Intelligence Relating to Detainees; and if he will make a statement.

The Government is currently considering what changes might be made to the Consolidated Guidance in light of the points raised by the Intelligence Services Commissioner. Any changes to the Consolidated Guidance will be laid before Parliament.
