Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many hernia repair procedures have taken place in the NHS in each month since April 2019.

A count of finished consultant episodes (FCEs) with any mention of a 'hernia repair procedure' by month between April 2019 to April 2020 is attached. Data provided for 2019-20 are provisional and are a count of FCEs, not the number of patients.
