Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what budget has been set aside to establish and maintain the independent communications data authorising body referred to in the IP Act Implementation, Programme Layer advert published on gov.uk on 17 March 2017.

The impact on current legislation of the ECJ Judgment of 21^st Dec 2016 on data retention is still being considered by the Government.
