Natural Gas: Contracts

Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:
To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, when he plans to renew operational contracts for gas interconnectors within the next two years.
This question was answered on 24th March 2017
Gas interconnectors are commercial businesses, licensed and regulated by the independent regulator, Ofgem. My Rt Hon Friend the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy has no contractual relationship with them. Any operational contracts are a commercial matter for the companies.
