Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, with reference to NHS England's Clinical Commissioning Policy: Percutaneous mitral valve leaflet repair for primary degenerative mitral regurgitation in adults, published in July 2019, what progress her Department has made in implementing that policy; and when she plans to complete the implementation of that policy.

NHS England has selected providers to implement the policy, with National Health Service providers identified in each region in England. Regional commissioners and cardiac networks are currently mobilising services in these newly identified providers.
