Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what steps his Department is taking to ensure that adequate services are available for patients in areas where there is a high prevalence of heart failure.

Most heart failure services are commissioned by clinical commissioning groups (CCGs). If a CCG has a high prevalence of heart failure, it is expected that this would be reflected in local prioritisation.
