The latest data were published in 2013 with trends data back to 1999. Inputs to landfill in England from 2009-2013 (in 000s tonnes) were:

2013 41,068

2012 41,797

2011 44,699

2010 43,563

2009 43,964

This information can be found at https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/waste-management-for-england-2013.

Neither Defra nor the Environment Agency hold data on square kilometres of landfill in the UK, England and Yorkshire of the last five years.
