Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether her Department plans to implement the recommendation in the Recruitment and Employment Confederation's report, Building the Post-Brexit Immigration System, published in June 2017, on introducing seasonal temporary work visas.

No final decisions have been taken on the UK’s post-Brexit Immigration system. We are considering the options for our future immigration system very carefully. It is important that we understand the impacts on the different sectors of the economy and the labour market. We will, therefore, ensure that businesses and communities have the opportunity to contribute their views. We will build a comprehensive picture of the needs and interests of all parts of the UK and look to develop a system which works for all.
