Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what assessment he has made of the potential merits of a memorial to people who suffered under Nazi occupation in Jersey and the Channel Islands during the Second World War.

There are a number of memorial plaques to the people who suffered under Nazi occupation in the Channel Islands. We envisage that their story will be featured in the proposed Holocaust Memorial and Learning Centre in Victoria Tower Gardens, Westminster.
