Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, when he plans to consult on business rate relief for local newspapers.

We are working closely with industry stakeholders and other government departments in order to build up the framework for the consultation as set out in the Conservative manifesto. Discussions around practical arrangements are underway and we will be consulting in due course.
