We have made no recent assessment of the impact of climate change on Mongolia.

However, the UK has supported Mongolia's efforts to adapt to the effects of a changing climate. A Darwin Initiative project is enabling traditional herders to access the voluntary carbon market; the UK supports Mongolia's work to tackle the Illegal Wildlife Trade; and the UK is working with the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank to help finance the development of renewable energy in Mongolia through the Scaling Up Renewable Energy Programme (SREP).
