Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what estimate he has made of the proportion of people on Care Programme Approach who do not have a crisis plan in place; and if he will make a statement.
The following table shows the number of people on the Care Programme Approach (CPA) without a crisis plan, at the end of the reporting period, in September 2016.

Note: The measure includes people with a crisis plan created or updated within the last 12 months.
It is best practice for each person who is on the CPA to have a crisis plan within their overall care plan. The Mental Health Act 1983 Code of Practice also makes it clear that patients, their carers and families should be involved in the care planning process so they can be involved in decisions about their care.
