New proposals on EU-wide arrangements for sharing natural gas have been proposed by the Commission and are now being negotiated by EU Member States, including the UK. The UK is currently considering its future relationship with the EU following the result of the EU Referendum and this includes the arrangements for sharing natural gas in the event of a crisis.
