To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how many applications to extract information from the National Pupil Database were made by the Home Office in each of the last five years; and how many such requests were approved.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was agreed in 2015 which allows the Home Office to access limited data including home address and school details. The MoU is available in the House Library.
