Museums and Galleries: Closures

Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, how many regional museums have closed in each of the last six years.
This question was answered on 23rd December 2016
The Department does not hold data on museums closures in the last six years. However, DCMS is currently in the process of conducting a review of the museums sector, which includes consideration of the resilience of the sector.
