We plan to launch the Ending Preventable Deaths Action Plan later this year. Ending the preventable deaths of mothers, newborn and children requires work across sectors to address the complex pathways leading to mortality. The plan includes an approach to integrate nutrition-specific services into a health system strengthening approach and influence others to do the same. Indicators for monitoring progress against the plan are still to be decided.
