The UK firmly believes corruption is at the heart of many of the world’s problems and needs to be addressed as a threat to global security. In particular we support efforts by the International Financial Institutions, South Sudan’s neighbours and development partners to fight corruption in South Sudan and embed more transparency and accountability in the use of its resources. These are critical elements of the Peace Process.
