Public Health England has not made an assessment of the impact of COVID-19 on the delivery of the national cardiovascular disease ambitions.

NHS England’s atrial fibrillation demonstrator pilot programme was completed in March 2020. Evaluation of the atrial fibrillation demonstrator pilot was paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic response. The evaluation will recommence in early July 2020. A report will be made available in early 2021 to share learnings from the pilot which will inform local and national action.
