Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what estimate his Department has made of the average number of people with diabetes in England who received a foot risk assessment within 24 hours of admission to hospital in the last 12 months.

However, the National Diabetes Inpatient Audit (NaDIA) (part of the National Diabetes Audit programme) collects information on inpatients with diabetes in England and Wales that had a specific diabetic foot risk examination for ulceration within 24 hours of admission to hospital.
