Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what assessment he has made of the effect on patient satisfaction with GP consultations of the practice of being limited to discussing one health concern per consultation.

There has been no national policy to limit general practitioner (GP) consultations to the discussion of one health concern per consultation. As such, national data on patient satisfaction with GPs cannot be interpreted as reflecting this issue in any way.
