Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how much his Department has spent on the upkeep of (a) RFA Wave Ruler and (b) RFA Wave Knight in each year since 2019.

The cost for the safe keeping and upkeep of Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) Wave Ruler and RFA Wave Knight from 2019 until 2022 were as follows:

2020-21 | £3 million |
2021-22 | £3 million |
2022-23 | £4 million |
Total | £13 million |
These costs include care and protection, dehumidification and continuation of mandatory maintenance to remain in class and any commercial wharfage necessary.
