Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, whether he proposes to continue top-slicing in the next television licence fee settlement.

My Right Hon. Friend the Secretary of State has previously said that the process for setting BBC funding must be open and transparent. He is currently considering options for how the licence fee settlement should be undertaken, alongside options for the Charter Review, and he will make an announcement in due course.
