Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:
To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what steps she is taking to increase the recruitment and retention of trading standards officers within local councils.

Local authorities are independent employers responsible for the recruitment and retention of their own workforces.
