Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps NHS England is taking to protect the NHS (a) brand and (b) logo from unauthorised AI-generated deepfake communications.

The Department’s brand team takes action against cases of potential misuse that are brought to our attention, including artificial intelligence generated or deep fake communications, although we do not comment on the details of individual cases.
