Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, with reference to the Answer of 19 April 2016 to Question 33305, whether his Department had sight of the evidence submitted to the Ombudsman in Bahrain regarding Mr Mohamed Ramadan's case when preparing that Answer.

The Ombudsman, Nawaf Mohammed Al Ma'awda, has issued a statement that addresses the full range of allegations and commits to undertake a full, independent investigation into the treatment of Mr Mohamed Ramadan. We appear not to have received any evidence in relation to this case.
