Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether his Department plans to recognise further ways of individuals proving double covid-19 vaccination status other than by a NHS letter and the NHS app.
This question was answered on 16th September 2021
We plan to explore how third-party integrations can be facilitated to support COVID-19 status in other apps in the future, including secure identity management credentials which adheres to the emerging international standards.
In England, the NHS COVID Pass is currently available via the NHS App, NHS.UK and via letter.
