Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, pursuant to the Answer of 4 June 2015 to Question 333, what guidance her Department issues to local authorities on the employment of educational psychologists.
This question was answered on 29th June 2015
The Department for Education does not issue guidance to local authorities on the employment of educational psychologists. Educational psychologists have a duty to provide psychological advice into the new Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans and review process (Children and Families Act 2014).
