To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, if she will publish an update on the progress of the independent review into the Information Commissioner's Office commissioned by the former Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology on 8 July 2026.

The independent Review of culture, accountability and governance at the Information Commission is going ahead. It will be led by an independent Reviewer and must command the confidence of current and former staff, Parliament and the public. We will announce the appointment of the independent Reviewer and publish the Terms of Reference once the necessary processes are complete. The Terms of Reference will set out how the Review will report.
