Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how many notifications of the death of a care leaver her Department received from local authorities in England between 1 April and 30 September 2026 by age (a) 16 to 21 and (b) 22 to 24.

Information on notifications of the deaths of care leavers in the 2026/27 reporting year will be published in 2027.
