Question to the Leader of the House:

To ask the Leader of the House, pursuant to the answer of 8 September 2026 to Question 21225 on Freedom of Information and Written Questions, whether there is a (a) minute and (b) speaking note for that briefing.

In line with the longstanding approach taken over successive administrations, there are no plans to publish ministerial briefing. The release of this information would prejudice the effective conduct of public affairs and adversely affect the principle of free and frank advice.
