Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, if she will make it her Department’s policy to allow political parties and elected representatives to have a statutory right to data on the expiry dates of postal vote mandates.

Electoral Registration Officers are already required to notify affected electors directly when their arrangement is due to expire and provide information about how to make a fresh application. The Government has no plans to create an additional statutory entitlement to this information.
