Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, pursuant to the Answer of 13 February 2025 to Question 30361 on Local Government: Elections, whether she had discussions with the district councils in (a) East Sussex, (b) West Sussex, (c) Essex, (d) Norfolk, (e) Suffolk, (f) Hampshire and (g) Surrey prior to the announcement of the cancellation of elections in those areas in May 2025.
