Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, with reference to Disability employment gap: Government Response to the Work and Pensions Select Committee’s Second Report of Session 2021–22 In-Work Support – Information and Advice, what progress her Department has made since it entered private live testing of an early version of a service to support employers managing health and disability in the workplace.

A new digital guidance service to help employers support disabled employees and employees with health conditions has been tested with approximately 1600 employers from smaller businesses.

We hope to make an early and limited version of the service more widely available shortly.

We will continue to develop the service, adding features and content, in response to test findings.
