Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what steps she has taken to support pensioners in social housing.

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) has supported pensioners already living in social housing primarily through regulatory reforms aimed at improving the safety and quality of social homes, including the introduction of a modernised Decent Homes Standard and Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards.
