Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, pursuant to the answer of 8 September 2026, to Question 20488, on Combined authorities: council tax, if she will make it her policy to extend councils’ powers to levy (a) council tax discounts and (b) business rate discounts, to combined authority and county combined authority mayors.
