Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what assessment her Department has made of the potential impact of technical problems relating to the Sustainable Farming Incentive 2026 Window 2, including relating to (a) land parcel information, (b) action areas and (c) application verification on applicants.

Defra put arrangements in place for applicants who experienced recognised technical issues that prevented them from submitting an application. Applications requiring additional checks remain subject to eligibility and verification processes. The Government has published information on applications received and continues to process applications in line with service requirements.
