Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what research her Department plans to undertake to establish a fair and objective criteria for an assessment of land classes across the UK in advance of her Department's review of convergence of uplift payment allocation.

The Government has committed to undertaking a review in 2016/17 of intra-UK CAP budget allocations. This review will include a comparison of land types across the UK.
