To ask the Right hon. Member for Kenilworth and Southam, representing the Speaker's Committee on the Electoral Commission, whether the Electoral Commission has given any advice or guidance on whether and how Section 1 of the Criminal Law Act 1977 applies to political finance offences committed by (a) political parties, (b) regulated donees, and (c) third party individuals and organisations linked with (a) and (b).

The Commission has not provided specific advice or guidance on section 1 of the Criminal Law Act 1977.
