Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, whether the revised statutory Private Parking Code of Practice will include guidance on the fair use of ANPR technology.

The Code will set out the minimum standards that private parking operators must adhere to. The government intends to lay the Private Parking Code of Practice in Parliament in autumn 2026.
