Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, what assessment he has made of the budgetary capacity of local authorities to deliver pay awards in line with inflation.

It has not proved possible to respond to the hon. Member in the time available before Prorogation.
